Craig heads up our Australian projects and is Managing Director of Shine Australia One Ltd and Canigou Australian Solar Limited, our development and asset management subsidiaries. He is based in Hong Kong with frequent travel to Australia.
Prior to working at Canigou Capital, Craig was a Director at Carbon Minded, a low carbon advisory company. He has 19 years’ experience in financial modelling and project management, with the last 15 years focused on the low carbon industry, he is also a qualified Barrister. He began his career in urban regeneration in the Chief Executive’s Office of Gateshead Council and is a former associate of the Policy and Research Group at St Chad’s College, Durham University, where he advised local governments and two Regional Development Agencies on the large scale development, funding and deployment of renewables and energy efficiency projects in the region. Until 2015 he was a Partner at Thurelstone Capital where he developed solutions for renewable energy projects across all proven technologies in the commercial and domestic sectors.

His projects included the development of a £250m private equity solution for delivery of the Green Deal with a national provider of energy efficiency advice, £250m private equity solar development in the UK, a solar feasibility study for the Palace of Westminster, work for the UK’s Foreign and Commonwealth Office, the Department of Energy and Climate Change, the Department of Transport, the British Embassy in Brazil, and Brazil’s Energy Planning Agency. He also has extensive multi- jurisdictional, multi-team, project management experience having overseen multi- million pound low carbon EU funded projects with responsibility for management of project teams and co-ordination with project partners in the UK, Denmark, the Netherlands.
Justin Passfield

Justin heads up our USA projects and is Managing Director of Canigou UMS Ltd, our development subsidiary for the New Mexico projects. He is based in London with frequent travel to the USA.
Justin is a seasoned finance professional. A chartered accountant by background, he spent much of his career in Financial Services, with notable roles including Finance Director of Barclays Private Bank, UK CFO at ABN AMRO investment bank, and European CFO at Alliance Bernstein, a New York listed asset manager with $800 billion under management globally. At Canigou Capital he has been focused on financing renewable energy assets across a number of technologies and in multiple national and international locations.
He has a good understanding of the project dynamics for these assets from early stage development, through the construction phase, and the long term cash flows from the operational phase. He can model, assess, and negotiate commercial solutions, and then structure the finance using a mix of equity, debt and mezzanine solutions to optimise the financial returns from the underlying asset.

Justin was previously the CFO of Alpin Sun, a German solar developer and EPC and in that capacity he has recently developed and sold 1,300MWp of solar PV in North America.
Heinz Jungermann

Heinz heads up our biogas projects in Germany and is Managing Director of Capital for Energy a subsidiary of Canigou BGG Ltd, our development company for the biogas projects in Germany.
He is based in Frankfurt and is a native German Speaker.
Heinz is an expert in complex transactions and strategic corporate management. Since 1993 he has provided advice and support at board and management level to companies operating on an international scale. With a focus on industries and companies that offer a high level of innovation and are positioned in dynamic markets, Heinz has many years of experience in business and project development.

His specialist field is renewable energy and he manages international projects of varying size and complexity in a professional and efficient manner and stays abreast of developments in the key markets in Europe, Asia, America, India and the Middle East.

Shine France
Ashton Shuttleworth
Ashton heads up our French solar projects. He is based in Pau, in the South of France.
Ashton has over 20 years experience in the field of renewable energy and clean technology as an analyst, consultant, investor and more recently developer.
His skills stem from an MSc in environmental Technology (Imperial College, London) and working with companies such as KPMG, Dresdner and an array of smaller boutique consultancies and advisory firms. He has lived in SW France with his family for the past 6 years.

Flora Passfield
Flora is focused on co-ordination of the German biogas and French based projects and is bilingual in English and French.
​
Flora has past experience in working in renewable energy and has an Msc in Environmental biology from the University of Birmingham. She has project management experience from working in Real Estate for Birmingham Estate Agents. She has experience working in environmental research for NGO’s such as BES.
